The collection – curated by Luca Beatrice – includes the work of 420 artists who, from North to South, from West to East, endorsed this project with enthusiasm, presenting in the 10×12 cm format their vision of Italy.

Established artists and young talents, painters, but also architects, designers, photographers, publicists, musicians and actors, create a vibrant, generous, democratic mosaic in the tradition of Imago Mundi.

The exhibition (together with the two catalogues: 210 artists each, strictly in alphabetical order, available at the exhibition) criss-crosses the country, presenting both the creativity of the cities and the many talents of the provinces, with a particular openness to the artistic sensibility of women.

“Praestigium has its origins in a pride for our prestigious roots, but intends to be, above all, the proud representation of our possible future, be it artistic, social or moral” said Luciano Benetton. “The commitment, sensitivity and courage to look ahead, the spirit of discovery of our artists, are signs of an Italian positivity which we send to the world.”
