Observation and understanding of nature is at the basis of the bond of man with his surroundings.
Art, science and technology have a lot in common: imagination and intuition are the ground of creative processes aimed at discovering, representing and improving our connection with the world around us.
Our contemporaneity is characterized by a growing attention to the environment and a rapid evolution of technology.
The invited artists and curators include advanced technologies and scientific knowledge in their practice, both conceptually and formally. They often collaborate with scientists and research institutes in order to better understand and describe the horizon we are facing as human beings in relation to our planet.
The talks of this series touch upon some curial topics such as: new hybrid aesthetics arising from the collaboration between man and machine; reverse learning or how we humans are adapting collective representations and visual codes to technology; understanding and representing natural phenomena through technology; positive and negative impacts of technology on the environment; rethinking of the anthropocentric position; transdisciplinary tendencies in artistic processes; the role of creativity in both scientific and artistic practice.
